Know The North

A paddling expedition exploring northern Canada by canoe from Saskatchewan to Hudson Bay.

Know the North is a group of eight educators and outdoor enthusiasts continuing the storyline of Canadian exploration by paddling through four provinces and territories, covering 1,400 kilometres from July to August, 2016.

The route includes challenging sections of whitewater, countless portages and traversing seldom traveled areas, stringing together remote parts of the Canadian Shield, Taiga, and Hudson Bay Lowland ecozones.
